Is it possible to pass an request from the net to another
local webserver. I want to host my www on the iis server
i'm running. And on another server i want to host a sub-
level domain. People are telling me i need an other
external ip if i want to do this. Is this true?
With external ip i mean a ip provided bij my isp.

greetz, H@rld

The other web server will have to have its own IP. What you may be able to
do is create a page on the one web server that redirects to the your
subdomain on the other server. However, there is an alternative that your
one web server can host another website by applying a host name headers to
use. This allows you to use one IP address. This is assuming you are using a
true OS Server software such as Windows NT, 2000/2003 server.

Hi,

You might try creating a virtual directory and in the virtual directory
tab choose a share located on another computer, and then enter the UNC path
of your internal machine.
