Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

Hi All,

I have setup a windows 2000 server with iis 5 to share some user folders via webdav. When I try to connect to it from a w2k or win98 machine it works very nicely. However every single winxp machine I try to connect from has difficulty either making the connection or it is painfully slow to work with. Any ideas why?

Thanks in advance.
Ren

Unfortunately, webdav from the client side is completely reliant on IE. I would try and update one of the XP boxes with the absolute latest IE and all updates.
You might want to try an IE group to see if there is anything known or issues.

Thank you. I hope this information is helpful.
