Anyone know what is causing many error log file entries regarding
something called "watch-info"? And why?

Thanks

Not quite sure what that is all about... perhpas I should elaborate?
here goes...
my log file has many lines that say this...

[Thu Mar 03 00:55:38 2005] [error] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] File does
not exist: /home/xxx/xxxxx/xxx/watch-info
[Thu Mar 03 01:00:36 2005] [error] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] File does
not exist: /home/xxx/xxxxx/xxx/watch-info
[Thu Mar 03 01:05:37 2005] [error] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] File does
not exist: /home/xxx/xxxxx/xxx/watch-info

I am wandering what is the file/folder/thing they are trying to look
at.

Thanks

Thought you may have been talking about referer spam.

dunno - I'd guess they were trying to find watchfiles but I can't imagine
why. Is your domain name similar to that of an open source project?

No.
These are all throughout my error file.
Actually, it takes about 90% of my errors caught.
