Post subject: w3wp.exe process at max CPU - one solution
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

I encountered this issue and saw a lot of posts with few answers, so
thought I would pass along my experience.

There are certainly numerous other possible causes, but in my case for
what its worth, stopping the Sharepoint Serviced Admin site fixed it.
