I am using iis5 from w2k professinal. I just procurded a copy of w2k
server. I tried to install iis from the new disk and it won't let me.
Keeps asking me to insert the w2k prof. Can I install the server
version without re-installing w2k.

Thanx

If you're trying to install IIS onto W2K Professional, then you need to
install it from the Pro disk. If you want to use the server version, then
you need to install/upgrade to W2k Server. You cannot install IIS onto W2K
Pro from the W2K Server disk.

Hi,

You cannot upgrade from Windows 2000 Pro to Windows 2000 Server. You must do
a clean install.
