How can I avoid that a user view the .txt files that are within a
/cgi-bin/files/ dir ?
I need that these files be 777 because they are updated by the visitors and
also the directory needs to be 777.
But I don't want that a visitor view the content of the .txt file putting
www.somesite.com/cgi-bin/files/file5.txt
in his browser.

Thank you
Nicola

Use a cronjob to move the files somewhere else or rename them or change
their permissions.
