Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

i use IIS , XP as web server for the internet zone.
when some poeple get into my server at the same time ... they got the error
message "too many users ...try later"

what are the steps i can make to allow more poeple to be served at the same
time?'
and is there maximum number allowed to use? according to XP-pro and its iis
web server?

where can i find tools that can help me to check sites overhead automaticly.

On XP-Pro, like Win2k Pro and NT Workstation you have a limit of 10
connections. This limitation is mentioned in :
http://www.microsoft.com/WindowsXP/pro/evaluation/overviews/iis.asp

Depending on the design of your site this may allow more or fewer actual
users.

Not sure what you mean by automatically but performance monitor can show
you how many connections you have.

Thanks.
