is the virtual directory mapped to an UNC path ?
Integrated auth is another mode of authentication,
since you want to allow anonymous, you don't need
to checked it.
now, try get filemon (sysinternals.com) run it on
web server, try access again, monitor the log file
to trace for any access related error.
