Post subject: urlscan deny post by default?
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

in my previous message, the problem i met is that when my
login.aspx posts data back to the same page, i get error
message said that the page is removed or not available.

Thanks to people on this board, i was directed to check
the log and I found that the post request is rejected by
urlscan. So I check the settings of urlscan and most
surprisingly, I found that post verb is rejected.

So my question is: is this the default settings for
urlscan to reject post? The server that bothers me is a
new webserver with win2k newly installed.

Thanks!

Are you sure ? by default verbs allow are:
Get, Head, Post.
