Post subject: unlimited domains hosting?
Archived from groups: alt>www>webmaster (more info?)

I need a new host, I need unlimited domains hosting, I have many simple
small websites that need unix/php/cpanel/stats and plenty of bandwidth.

At the moment I am looking at...
http://www.rapidgrid.com/reseller_accounts.htm
and severs at http://powerraq.com/

But neither really inspire confidence. Has anyone found a reliable solution
to the problem of trying to host unlimited domains (up to 150), for a
reasonable price? ieŁ50pm or less?

any advice welcome, thanks

Jonno

Don't ask for unlimited anything, because everything has a limit. Ask for
what you reasonably need.

We'd need to know how much diskspace and transfer per month you need as
well.

I'm looking too, mainly to share resources on *nix with those I already
have using Windows systems.

Been looking at <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.coderedhosting.com/pages/reseller1.html" target="_blank">http://www.coderedhosting.com/pages/reseller1.html</a>
because they are UK based (for similar office hours support) but don't
know anything about them.

Will watch the thread.

Cheers,
Dave

I have used <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.homepageuniverse.com" target="_blank">www.homepageuniverse.com</a> for almost a year now, and
although there were some technical problems with mailservers and
downtimes a few times, they are rather cheap and reliable enough for
ordinary private and business sites. I wouldn't use them for super
critical websites though. Use your own dedicated server for that
purpose. But overall I would recommend them absolutely. They use Plesk
instead of CPanel though.

Jurgen Nijhuis

LOL - yum yum, javascript + pop-ups. What else do you need as a sign of
cluefulness and integrity in a proposed business partner?

OK more specific...
Up to 200 Domains, most would be very happy with 5-40Mb but a few require up
to 200Mb - Total 10GB would probably be enough.
Most require MySQL, PHP, stats and some sort of control panel.
Total Bandwidth Requirement 50Gb/month

You'd probably do better getting a dedicated server, with that load.

ebizalive.net looks ideal - Thanks!

the 1&1 free hosting offer looks too good to be true, sadly I can't take
advantage without a us/can phone number (I'm in the UK)<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
