Post subject: Apache (unix) + mod_ssl + mod_gzip not compressing anything
Archived from groups: alt>apache>configuration (more info?)

Hi. I have been trying to get mod_gzip and mod_ssl to work together
on Apache. I have been able to get mod_gzip to compress stuff if I am
not useing ssl. I can also get mod_ssl to work, but then the ssl is
working, then nothing gets compressed. (I know this because there is
nothing in the mod_gzip log file).

Has anyone been able to get mod_gzip and mod_ssl to work together ???

I installed apache, and openssl onto Solaris 8 using precompiled
packages.

Thankns

Peter
