IMO labels are best left on food. I am me not some damn label.
I would like to see someone label me. They would wear themselves
out or go crazy first trying to find all the labels to pin on me...

Not meaning to be argumentative but just stating my view on labels. :p

It adds to the rich diversity of language and life. I like terms such
as "actor" and "actress", they do describe different things, one is
male and one female. Vive le difference!

Well, if the original term were gender-neutral, most women wouldn't
want a different title. However, "master" implies that the person is
a male. I'm sure that most of the men on this list would have been
looking for a different title if the original title had been
"webmistress."

Someone I know uses "webweaver" - I like that one<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
