Archived from groups: alt>apache>configuration (more info?)

Hi,

I have an apache 1.3.33 installation on Redhat 7.3. It runs 1 site
plus an SSL version of the site on port 433 (mod_ssl). The problem I
have is that when I go to http://www.mysite.com/folder I get redirected
to http://machinename.domain.com/folder/ instead of
http://www.mysite.com/folder/ This only seems to happen with IE,
Firefox is fine (no suprise there eh?). Can anyone point me in the
right direction on this?

I know that I could have another rewrite rule to redirect from the site
to the right one but I'm thinking that there is a cleaner solution.

I am not a *complete* novice at this but this is a problem I haven't
come across before so I'm not sure where to look.

Thanks,

Chandy

Of course I mean 443. Also, I set UseCanonicalName to Off and
specified a ServerName of <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.mysite.com" target="_blank">www.mysite.com</a> but it didn't make a
difference.
