Is it feasible to publish a website using only tomcat standalone? (I only am
going to be using html, jsp, and servlets for my webpage). Are there any
security issues with using this as opposed to Apache with a Tomcat "plug-in"

thanks.

Hi:

You can use Tomcat as a Web Server - you can't use Apache alone if you have
JSPs and Servlets.

However you can link up Apache to Tomcat if you need to.

But Tomcat on its own should take care of most issues.
