We seem to be taking part in a very pointless thread crossposted with
news.admin.net-abuse.email. I suggest that as a subscriber of this group
you simply do not participate in that thread. It has degenerated far
beyond pathetic and has become worse than some of the low-down dirty
personalised insults that get thrown around in even this group!

For your sanity and mine, please ignore the "Petition to stop Verisign's
typosquatting abuse of the DNS" thread. Please?

I saw the length it had gotten to and said "Hmmm, Lemme guess - Flamewar?
Yup? 'Ignore'".

It wouldn't have bothered me if it were simply a long thread, it is more
the personal insults and the naming of anyone from AWW as a sock.

No worry, Dylan.

I resisted riding into town in my white charger to your defence,
having seen Charles some yards ahead of me, his armour shining
brightly.

Don't let them get you down, there aren't many of us on Usenet who are
as we seem, most are wind bags, and social inadequates who retreat to
the security and safety of virtual social-interaction, too scared and
feeble to attempt the real thing.

Not really, just a lot of bickering. Apparently Bill Logan is one of
Charles Sweeney's sock puppets, and we are *all* AOL users!

Yep, and Iso is throwing them "juicy" links in his usual attempt to defame
me. That is a practice that is rapidly nearing the end of its sell-by date.

The same two he always does. My one spammer, and my one abuser. It's quite
useful in a way, it allows me to tell the world how I deleted them without
notice because the much loved ableinternet does not tolerate such things.

Glad I stayed out of it, it's been lovely and quiet on the mail server
the past few days, and I like it like that!

Probably coincidence. The SWEN worm is bidding to become the biggest DOS
attack on UseNet yet. (I've been sent over 1000 copies, and there's
people who have been hit harder than I have.)
