Archived from groups: alt>apache>configuration, others (more info?)

Hi,
I am running Apache on redhat fedora core1 with ajp tomcat.
I am using DSL from bellsouth (if that has anything to do with it) with a
static ip.

I got this strange problem where sometimes large pictures got stuck (the
transmition
stops and neighter the server or the client seem to retry). The problem
only happens
on internet (local lane is always fine).

I was able to reproduce the problem by either telnet to port 80 or use a
program to grab
the picture. Interesting thing is, if I just start one single program and
let it download,
it always success (download till finish), but if I start 2 of them at once,
sometimes it got stuck.

Anyone know why this happens? It seems that either the kernel or the client
is not retrying
(I am testing it with some windows xp clients).

Thanks
Gang

Apache 2.x? Maybe is a problem with that version. Can you try
with a 1.3.x version?
