Post subject: syntax error due to libmysql
Archived from groups: alt>apache>configuration (more info?)

Hi,

I changed from mysql 4.x to 5.0 manually, and apache2 does not start-up
anymore.

# /etc/init.d/apache2 start

gives:

* Apache2 has detected a syntax error in your configuration files:
Syntax error on line 5 of /etc/apache2/modules.d/70_mod_php5.conf:
Cannot load /usr/lib64/apache2/modules/libphp5.so into server:
/usr/lib64/apache2/modules/libphp5.so: cannot open shared object file:
No such file or directory

in my mysql/lib folder I have the files:

libdbug.a libmysql.imp libmysql.so.14 libmysqlclient.a
libmysqlclient_r.a libmystrings.a libmysys.a libz.a

Furthermore I am using 2.6.15-gentoo-r5 on AMD-64

Where can I look to make apache2 work again ?

thanks,

patrick
