That would be your "target" audience!

It's changed a lot over the last year, that's for sure. Our audience are
young-trendy-affluent, generally with good computers. In the space of 18
months since our last major update of that site, the audience has swung 30%
towards other browsers, while our visitors have gone up by 20%. If *this*
market is swinging away from IE that quickly, I doubt it'll be long before
IE's influence will start to diminish!

Woo! It certainly won't be before time either.

Not ANOTHER one! DOH!

May I humbly direct you in the direction of this document, "How The
Web Works" at http://www.analog.cx/docs/webworks.html which will
explain why "unique IP" addresses or however one wishes to describe
them are about as relevant to a web site's traffic as the number of
Salmon swimming in the local river.

yap yap... I know how the net works. Our site tracks sessions & IPs, and
sessions don't get cached (they expire after 20 minutes).

so just for matt, who is too quick to criticise rather than help;

Still complete bollocks, which you should know, having been a 2nd line
Unix support engineer.

I'd be interested to hear how your sessions don't get cached, that's
amazing, no one else has managed to prevent ALL caching, and how you
can differentiate between someone accessing a page, and then getting
called away by, let's say a screaming baby, before returning after an
indeterminate period to resume.

Reassuring someone that the Emperor's new clothes are indeed fabulous
to behold, is *not* helping...
