Post subject: apache with subdirectories. Users unable to go to the subs.
Archived from groups: alt>apache>configuration (more info?)

I am running Slackware 9. I have a smc-7400vbr router and adsl modem.
I use minidns for a dynamic dns . Everything seems to work ok but when
someone connects to it:
http://www.bclinux.ca
I have linked some subdirectories with files in them. E.G. Ham Info
They see the page properly but when they try to look in one of the
subdirectories, they get a message saying:
Netscape is unable to locate the server leo.bclinux.ca

Any ideas? I have tried chmod and also changed the permissions of these
subdirectories and still nothing fixes it.
I will appreciate any hints or help.

Is a problem with "/". If you try <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.bclinux.ca/linux" target="_blank">http://www.bclinux.ca/linux</a> you'll
receive an error, however, if you add a "/" at the end
(http://www.bclinux.ca/linux/), you'll receive the directory correctly.
I think you have to use mod_rewrite to add the ending "/" or edit your
index.html page and add "/" to the urls.

Thank you very much for your timely and correct reply.
I edited the links and added the "/" to each of the subs and now it all
work.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
