Hi.

I keep all my music on my computer here at work.

Previously, at home, I was able to just click on a song and it would start
playing even while it was downloading.

For some reason now, it has to download the entire thing before it begins to
play.

Would this be a browser setting or a setting in IIS?

It's running on small business server 2003 if that matters.

Bryce.

Neither. It is a setting in your playback software.

It's most likely whatever media player is attempting to play the mp3.

If you're using http to play the mp3 off the web server, it's being
downloaded like any other file. The media player's settings decide how much
it needs to receive before beginning playback.

Check the buffering settings in whatever the media player is. Beyond that, I
can only say it's not an IIS setting.
