Post subject: strange referrers / URLs in stats?
Archived from groups: alt>www>webmaster (more info?)

This morning, while taking a look at my web stats, I found these two
entries:

URL:
/images/?q=tbn:tlCOhMe3DV8J:www.zahrawi.com/images/enter-technology-chart2.g
if
Referrer:
http://mydomain.com/images?q=tbn:tlCOhMe3DV8J:www.zahrawi.com/images/e...r-techn

and

URL: /images/?q=tbn:HxpWdbTmFZgJ:www.julieparrish.com/images/enter.jpg
Referrer:
http://mydomain.com/images/?q=tbn:HxpWdbTmFZgJ:www.julieparrish.com/im...s/enter

I can't quite figure out what's going on here. Clicking either link goes to
the listing of all files in my 'images' directory. I've never heard of these
websites (www.julieparrish.com and www.zahrawi.com) before. One is the
website of a deceased movie acress; the other is a medical practice in the
United Arab Emirates. My website is for a bookstore specializing in poetry.

("mydomain.com" is just for example as I don't want to give out my actual
URL here - if you'd like to know what it is, please email me.)

Anyone have any idea what's going on? This is very strange ~

cheers ~
Denise
