As far as telnet is concerned, I am not sure, but terminal services you are running under a different context (termserv user), and you
only have access to the processes within this context. This is why you can't debug via terminal services. A work around is to set a
scheduled task and take that approach.
Thank you. I hope this information is helpful.

| Hi all, this is my problem
|
| I work with terminal services with win2k
| I know that iistate don't work with terminal services.
| But it would work with telnet.
| So i go in telnet and logon as Administrator (with debug permission in
| local policy), but when i run iisstate -p <pid> -sc
| it says "access denied to pid xxx"
|
| What's the problem?
|
| My IIS crash every five minutes i need to debug with iistate. I've tried
| with iisdump but the log are not so good.
|
| Tnx for your help.
| Bye Fabio
