Post subject: iisstate: To monitor multiple DLLHOST.EXE's do I open multiple command windows?
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

I am trying to monitor multiple DLLHOST.EXE's (multiple CPU's). When I
started iisstate, monitoring for a soft crash, I didn't get back to a
command prompt. So, I have to open another command window to start an
additional iisstate, right?

TIA,

Larry Woods

Yes. Though you must use IISState 3.1 or later. Previously, running
multiple iisstates would mess up the log files.

Hi Larry,

If you are running IISState in either crash mode (by using the -sc or -hc
parameter), then IISState does not pause the process, but waits for the
failure to occur. This is by design which means your IISstate works fine
for you now.

Does this answer your question? Thank you for using Microsoft NewsGroup!

Hi Larry,

Thank you for replying!

You can obtain the IISstate from IISFAQ. Please go to:
