Post subject: apache not starting properly after fresh windows install
Archived from groups: alt>apache>configuration (more info?)

I have a very weird problem that I have never encountered before. I
was installing apache on my labtop which has windows 98 on it and
after it installed apache usally theres a tray icon in the ... tray
and there was execpt there was no server running accourding to that
program. Mind this was a fresh install so I don't know what to do. I
checked configs and tryied manually starting it at console and nothing
seems to work. Does anyone have any ideas about how to fix this
problem. Or has anyone heard of this problem happinging or should I
report it to bugzilla or whatnot.

Any helps would be appreciated. I have to get this working so that I
can work on my PHP while I'm on vacation. This is just the weirdest
thing. Funny I can configure apache, mysql, and php in windows xp and
debian but I can't in windows 98.
