I just installed IIS in WinXP and I think that is ver 5.1. I want it
strictly for testing my website before I actually upload the files. My plan
of attack is this.
1) Install IIS
2) Get help
3) Get more help

I don't find anything very helpful in the help file so what I'm looking for
is links to a site or sites that will take me through the setup and usage
starting immediatly after step 1 above.
Help will be appreciated and the persons responsible for that help will be
held in the highest esteem possible for the rest of my days.

What you usually only need to do is place your files in the wwwroot
folder, and then access the website using http://localhost/file.ext

Are you using ASP.NET or any other server-side technique? You may need to
install and/or configure it. Any database involved (not an IIS-question,
but we may be able to help, or atleast point you in the right direction)?

I think you are not finding anything specifically for your situation,
because IIS is very flexible and can be used in many different situations.
So documentating one specific is difficult.
