Mandrake Control Center-> system -> services (or some such since they
changed the name in 9.1) make sure "httpd" is checked for boot.

Go to the Mandrake Control Center under System Services and check httpd to
start on boot.

I manually added MySQL to my linux laptop, how do I add this to the list of

I did that with Mandrake 9.0, and it still wouldn't start. The setting was
being overridden by Webmin, and I had to enable it in Webmin as well.

Add the following line in /etc/rc.d/rc.local
/usr/local/apache2/bin/apachectl start

I use Redhat v8.0 so I am not sure if this will work with your
version, type the following at the command line:

chkconfig httpd on

It worked for me..<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
