I am getting this error while starting w3svc[ world wide web]
Error 3: path not found
and there are more dependancies for w3svc than normal...
any help?

I have reinstalled the whole iis... initially the w3svc was not even
on the service list.. but now its there but not able to start..

what operating system are you running on? Does the ftpsvc service
start?
