Post subject: Can not start IIS 5.0
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

IIS 5.0 is installed on Win 2000 server. Inetpub directory is created on my C:\ drive.
But when I click "Internet Services Manager" from "Administrative Tools", I get error:
"Snap-in failed initialized".
So IIS not wotk. I check Services windows, World Wide Web Publishing Service is not there.
Any ideas to fix this problem?
Thanks.

-Tom

If you are not seeing the IIS services in the Services applet, then I
suggest you uninstall and reinstall IIS.

Hope this helps!
