No, why would it be?

Many page designers use 'blank' (transparent) gifs to 'push' space to their
liking. Mine's just named "blank.gif" and is a 2x2 pixel cell that I can use
the "width" and "height" parameters to 'push'.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

On other directories where there is no default page such as:
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://services.google.com/inquiry/" target="_blank">http://services.google.com/inquiry/</a> it simply says not
authorized (returns an http error forbidden).

The intentionally left blank phrase is often found on printed
matter and having it on print.google.com seems like a cutesy
joke in a vein similar to say PigeonRank.

Thanks brucie! Happy NOT to be "in your league" !

Glad to see you're a 'sophisitcatty' ... I'd rather the info get out to
older browsers than hamstring people with the latest 'trick'.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Normally that would be true... But I believe, in this case, pushing
elements around with transparent spacer gif's is the "trick", while CSS
margins and padding is the accepted standard.

And just as you are happy not to be "in brucie's league", I am quite sure
that brucie is just as happy not "living in the past". Cheers.

what latest "trick"? spacer images have never needed to be used. i think
it was just a habit people picked up from some early WYSINWYG editors
and image slicers that auto generated them so people thought that was
how to do it.

If you actually look at the page in question, which is
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://print.google.com/print" target="_blank">http://print.google.com/print</a> and 'view source' there is no tranparent gif
used. The wording is just <center> -ed on the page
