"Message delivery to the host 'xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx' failed while
delivering to the remote domain 'domain.domain' for the following
reason: The remote server did not respond to a connection attempt."

Please help me with setup.

This is a problem that is becoming more and more common and may not be
specific to your update.

Unfortunately, Microsoft does NOT currently put the remote server's true
reply in the event log message. Micrsoft, pleeeasse do that! To find out
why the remote domain won't accept you, get onto that machine and manually
open a TCP connection on port 25 trying to send mail to the address (a test
message). In the course of doing that, you might see one of many different
things -- like perhaps they're blocking your IP address for spam protection.
Search google for TCP and sending mail manually with the HELO command and
you'll see how to do it.

hi again,
i send message like "telnet host 25", and smtp server return me queue

But dont send message. Its looks like SMTP server work proper, but
firewall or other security settings dont permit it. I have no
firewaals or other.
I just install AVG antivirus, but technical support from Grisoft AVG
say me what AVG dont modify smtp server.
Yesterday i try to install IsMail - Smtp,Pop3,Imap server, nothig
changes.

If nothing changed with a different SMTP server, then it's not your
server. Your ISP may block port 25 for example. AVG won't affect
SMTP but firewalls and script-blocking software might.

Hello,

The most common reason for this is that your ISP blocks outgoing port 25.
Please contact your ISP and ask them if they do this.
