Any graphical browser this site does not work in? Before you check some
words of caution
1. Site is riddled with tables
2. Site uses js
3. Site has pop ups

So, if you don't like tables and you don't like pop ups and you have js
turned off - then don't bother.
I am only interested in genuine feedback about graphical browser 'out of the
box' compatibility

If you are happy with those conditions then by all means please visit
http://www.onlinekiwi.net/

Oh yes, on a commercial note - this site is targeted at NZ businesses only
so any offers or options suggested are not available to aliens or businesses
in foreign countries

FWIW........checked in current opera for linux and current netscape for linux

In netscape the the images that make up the server line up correctly, in opera
they are slightly mis-aligned.

In both browsers the server image appears-- out of focus ?

The green word Kiwi also appears just a touch out of focus, may be the
contrast between the blue background and the green of the word Kiwi.

JS works on all browsers.

also FWIW the background image for the contact form, when viewed seperately,
shows a square with rounded corners, but it's showing up in the browser as a
square with rounded corners on top and square angle corners on the bottom of
the form...black background.

just a per. note... the kiwi with the flashing eyes is just plain freaky

ET will be disappointed!

The contact form could be a little tidier and larger (ie6/win2k)

Er, I think I meet the required criteria.....<g>

That Kiwi reminds me of something out of a Freddy Kruger film......

The yellow is hard to read on the purple, the font is too small, and
it all looks ragged, not smooth, on my out of the box, full windowed,
IE6 system at 1024x768 on a 19 inch monitor.

Looks OK in IE6 at 800x600 on a 17" screen except that the text is too
small .... and I can't re-size it.

There are alignment and text/background incompatibilities on Netscape
4.75.

Works fine in my IE6 on XP.

Graphics look a bit fuzzy.

Interesting, the same goes with the windows version.

Its ok, the original is like that - meant to be

Yep, hadnt noticed befor but you are tight, I also suspect the green on
blue - will try some alternate colors

Posibly because in the browser the size is not full lenth and there for cuts
of the bottom - at least that is what is intended.

Thanks for the excellent constructive and valid feedback - certainly some
stuff to look into and exactly the sort I was looking for!<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Lucky sod, it only blinks at most people.

Don't hold back now William, I know the look is rough - it is targeted at
Kiwi Businesses and they are more critical of how it works than how it
looks. However point taken. Problem is, (as you know:-) I am a table man
(not person!) from way back. BUT I also feel? that forms do not always work
properly across table elements - maybe I am wrong? Anyway - - - in this
case I kept the form inside one <td> </td> as a result I only used <br> s to
make newlines. Perhaps you can suggest how I could better align everything
within the single cell? At the moment it is all aligned center. Align=right
also makes it a bit ugly.

I don't want to get into the whole css bit - ( I do use them for fonts etc)
but any little tip that I could apply to improve in the existing table
structure would be welcome.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

if you're going to use tables - I think you'll have to nest them to get a
decent display.

hmmm - I've only ever done them one of two ways:
full table implementation and full css.

Not sure if I have any table based contact forms around anymore, but I guess
you can probably manage one of them.

As for CSS - I think this < <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://williamtasso.com/contact.asp" target="_blank">http://williamtasso.com/contact.asp</a> > is one of
the most recent. The css is fairly well laid out (all the contact form
stuff is together) please help yourself if you think it's suitable.

Win98, 15" 1024x768. Looks good in Mozilla 1.4RC and IE 5.5. Lettering
is ok on darker shades of purple, but lighter shades hard to read.
Computer graphic has more squigglies underneath in Mozilla.

On that form, if you take out "address" and just use "email" it may line
up better.

LOL: Mr Logan, go wash your mouth out with soap and stand in the corner for
an hour. ;o)

Matt is right about the yellow/purple combination - making the text larger
may help.

The 'compare plans page has some issues:
o HTML needs a tweak on the webmail row.
o background colour misses a change on the 'monthly price' row.
o background colour misses a change on the 'free domain' row.
I know you don't want to know this, but
o needs javascript to open when it's trivial to provide a fallback.

Overall the text-size is very small.

The Yes/No text-boxes on the order form could usefully be replaced with
check-boxes.
Is there supposed to be more under 'select your payment options here'?

Thanks to all who made some useful comments. I have made the suggested
changes where I could although it does not look much different to me. Still
needs a lot of work graphic wise but I am spending too much time responding
to site enquiry's to be able to give it any meaningful time - guess we shall
just have to live with the rest of the faults - for now.

Thanks again for the feed back!<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
