You do not specifiy a background colour for the content area. Because of
my desktop theme, your background is light grey with white borders on the
images and along the top and bottom.

Grey

needs :
character encoding
there is no reason for a new design to use a Transitional Doc Type - the
Strict version is ok
this functionality "<TD>
<IMG SRC="/namestead/images/spacer.gif" WIDTH="1" HEIGHT="1"></TD>"
could/should be replaced with CSS (Cascading Style Sheets)
menu roros etc. don't work
the description meta is for "page description" not just a restatement of
your keywords.
the page heading could/should be marked up as <hn> and should not be a link
to the current page

white on black/grey navigation works for me but others may have problems
with contrast especially as you have fixed the size of the navigation -
making it impossible for an important %age of your visitors to even read it.

btw:

what's your connection with " korea telecom " and why do you think your
visitors would like a reciprical link with them.

It seems to appear just as you wanted it to on my computer. I think the
design looks awesome and easy to use. And I personally wouldnt worry about
really old people trying to read it too much, I really like blue and grey.
As for the coding, you should run it through Dr. Watson:

Erik Smith,

Thanks for the review and tool tip. Dr. Watson found a lot of problems!

By the way what did you mean about the blue/gray combo and "older people".

William Tasso,

Thanks for your comments.

Sorry I am not replying directly under your post, but my ISP is not showing
me all of the responses to my thread. I had to go to Google Groups...

Anyway what did you mean by "menu roros etc. don't work". What are "roros"?

Also what do you mean about a reciprocal link to Korea Telecom? I do not
know of any link to them... I hope this is nothing fishy...

Thanks,

You must have Javascript turn off... Ok we will look into the powers of CSS.

Once again thanks William Tasso. Somebody from korea telecom was hammering
our site with a spider and we had to block them. In the process though we
introduced a software bug by re-using the same variable name. Sad

Fixed now...

May I ask what you mean by the above?

We did change the content links on our home page so that they no longer just
go to the current page... But I am not sure if you meant something else.

You have an image (on that page) containing the words "domain name
monitoring services". I am suggesting you could/should employ markup
similar to <h1>domain name monitoring services</h1> as a replacement for the
image.

This image is also a link to the current (same if you like) page. Such a
link is not necessary and arguably a distraction for your visitors.

HTH - get back if it still needs clarification

All <IMG> tags should contain an 'ALT=' entry.

For the benefit of voice browsers and screen readers:

Set this to null on the up.gif's and the spacer.gifs and anywhere else
you don't need alternate text. i.e. ALT=""

Set it to the destination in circumstances where the image is being used
as a link -- as in your navigation menu.

e.g.
<TD>
<A HREF="/namestead/contactus.asp"><IMG
SRC="/namestead/images/namestead_contact.gif" WIDTH="53" HEIGHT="13"
BORDER="0"></A>
</TD>

change to:

<TD>
<A HREF="/namestead/contactus.asp"><IMG
SRC="/namestead/images/namestead_contact.gif" ALT="Contact Us"
WIDTH="53" HEIGHT="13" BORDER="0"></A>
</TD>
