I am building a site for a customer and I would appreciate any constructive
critism you can offer. I have tried to optimize the site so it loads fast
on a dial up by keeping the graphics small and clean.
the website url is http://www.electricalresource.info
and before you ask, yes on the inside members pages, the links will work
for the area's selected.. ( they do not yet ) I am also still building the
about us page.. But I am looking for coments on the design itself.
Thanks
Bill

Looks great. Clean. Quick.
You desperately need a "home" link, or at least one that is obvious, I
couldn't find it!
I would make the logo link to home too.

Thanks Charles, Just did. I think I accomplished what I set out to do, I
wanted a page that would load very fast on a dial up connection and be
pleasing to the eye as well. As I get more done I will request a second
look.

The text itself is not set yet, I will be changing font size when I get the
correct text from the customer.
unfortunately the font size on the menu has to stay that way or it blows the
whole layout look...

Well, on an 800x600 monitor the text is barely readable in a number of
browsers...on a 1024x700 something monitor the text is, however, readable.
But your call...

Interesting, I would have thought on the 1024 it would be worse... I
personally want it larger, or mayby a better font, not sure, but will
definately work on it.
Thanks for your help

1)"Submit Order" when filling out the join form seems out of place...
2) Filling out the form and submitting with js off gives a page of HTML
markup...

Fixed design, doesn't resize. The font size is fixed? If so, it MUST
be relative/variable.
The use of embedded <font> tags along with an external style sheet
suggests a lack of understanding.....

I have to be honest, if it was me I would have used MUCH more CSS to setup
the page...
the finger being changed on places you can't click is a usability no no....
(see the navigation cells, ie6)
btw who did the website ?
