Hi

I need to see what our site looks like at SLOW connection/dial-up
speeds - any ideas?!

We are on high speed broadband in the office, and everything is
loading almost
instantly. Anyone know of a utility that one can look through, that
will
slow down ones download speeds at will? Or perhaps there is a website
out there that lets you view a web page through a throttled
gateway...??
e.g. 28 baud, 56K etc

It is possible to set up a "network" over RS232. A null modem and a couple
of computers will do it. Set the speed as low as you like, even 1200 baud.

Try Sloppy - the slow proxy
http://www.dallaway.com/sloppy/
It seems to work pretty well, and gives you a few different connection
speeds to simulate.
