shopsite experience?

I already have a merchant acct. and take orders online, but I need to
download data once a day and then manually import it into a filemaker
database and there is much room for error in the process.

If I understand the literature, shopsite will interact directly with
authorize.net and basically give me an online database of retail
orders?

What about wholesale? Can I create wholesale customers/orders online
through shopsite?
