Hey, I've just setup iis 6.0 on my winXP. Under wwwroot I create a folder
called 'project' and set web-share to ok. If I do
http://computername/project in my internet explorer it works fine. However
if I use my room-mates computer it doesnt work at all, then a login box pops
up asking for guest password. The guest account has no password but if I
click ok on the popup box it just re-appears again. Im lost here, please
help me out.

What type of authentication do you have set for this site?

I would recommend reviewing http://support.microsoft.com/?id=271071 this
will have the basic setting you will need for IIS permissions.

Thanks.
