Better to use your own SSL certificate rather than a shared
one. Looks more professional for starters.
All you need is a good host that will help you through the
process. To be reasonably secure you need to have your own
unique IP and a site area secure from others on the same
server as well as an authenticated security certificate for
your named site.
We can provide all that for you but I cannot recommend
ourselves.
I would instead recommend that you check out a non - web
hosts forum, and see what the participants have to say about
setting up SSL and hosts support etc. While it is a relative
easy thing to set up some hosts with less experience can do
it badly. They usually get a mention in the forums:-)
The ideal for you would be a host that can provide the
certificate and set it up for you as well as walk you
through the process.
