another pc it don't work- now my computer is on and the program send the
correct IP. So when i visit it from another pc it is current.

Dan,
What could be happening is that Verizon is blocking port 80, the port that
HTTP traffic uses, to try and stop people from hosting a web server. Try
making Apache use a different port - say, 1234 - and see if it works. You
will need to visit your site like so:
http://propc.sytes.net:1234
There is good information on how to set this up in the Apache documentation.
You need to edit httpd.conf
Good luck >> Stay informed about: setting up homeserver |

Now, now. Why not cut the spammer some slack?
First, let him get his computer and website up and running.
Second, we post his IP address to selected hacker forums, claiming this guy
is a government official, Internet security specialist, RIAA-friendly
person, anti-war, etc.
Third, we call up the FBI and tell them about suscpicions of possible child
porn on his computer.
Fourth, we allow Verizon to kick him due to a possible ToS breach
(attachment A - "Acceptable Use Policy", part 3d, 3h, 3i, 3n, 3v, and/or
especially 3q).

Let me close by saying "muahahahahahaha!"
Thank you.

Not like you to be like that, Kim.
He posted one single advertising message. Since when has that ever
been "spam" ?
And now the holier than thou crowd all want to waste bandwidth by
harassing him and insulting him. Not very gentlemanly.

I don't see Kim's posts these days - he's not in the bozo box. Maybe my
newserver and his had a tiff.

There's been an increase in the use of 'industrial' language and loutish
behaviour in here of late and there's still nearly six weeks till September.

Yes, that describes it excellently. "Loutish".
