Hi!

I have just set up a 2003 server with iis 6.

I want to set up a dns server, so I can add several domain names....
How can I do that?
Any good tutorials on that?

I want to set up a nameserver....

my IP adress is 195.1.31.121
and I want to set up a nameserver: ns1.binaer.no

I am a rookie and have not much experience in dns/iis...

best regards
Christopher Brandsdal

You can't with IIS.

Probably, but it's not IIS.

DNS *isn't* IIS and there's a DNS group that can answer these
questions a lot better. Or see the online documentation:

Server 2003 Docs:
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/WindowsServ/2003/standard/proddocs/en-us/default.asp" target="_blank">http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/WindowsServ/2003/stan...d/prodd</a>

For the next questions you'll ask you'll want to look at:

DNS Basics for IIS Administrators:
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.iisanswers.com/articles/dns_for_iis.htm" target="_blank">http://www.iisanswers.com/articles/dns_for_iis.htm</a>

Internet Information Services 6.0:
