You need to have someone configure DNS.

sure, you 'll need to have dns running so you can create the record(s)
as well, you'll need to add the host header(s) in iis.
you really should read up a bit, there is a lot to do when hosting.

There's no difference between an intranet site and an internet site to
IIS. I doubt you'll be able to get a complete enough set of help in a
newsgroup, you'll probably wnat to pick up a book or two on IIS and
Windows administration to get started.

If you want do that, you need to put an entry into the DNS (talk to whoever
looks after the DNS servers for ourcompany.com - could be your internal
network people, or it could be your ISP if they look after your domain)
Cheers

Thanks Ken. It is ISP who looks after the DNS. So, what I basically need is
just make a phone call to ISP people and tell them to add
intranet.ourcompany.com to the DNS server.
Does this thing need any other modifications, since for now we could use
"intranet" with address: http://ourserver and the site is allready done. And
about security, is it ISPs responsibility to take care of it and does it
block all the users outside of our LAN?

If you want to block users from outside the LAN, then:
a) don't use a FQDN (ie, not intrant.mycompany.com because that's visible in
the public DNS)
-or-
b) you need to setup some kind of restrictions in IIS (eg restrict allowed
IP addresses to only those that are in your LAN), or disallow anonymous
authentication
Cheers
