My PC is running on MS Windows 2000 Professional.
I am unable to use some of the IIS services
IF I give http://localhost/ in internet Explorer I get an "Authentication Failed " error meaage
the error message number is 1474
I couldn't view my ASP pages
What could be the problem?

It sounds like a permissions issue. Try setting you root directory to
windows authentication and see if you get the same error. If things seem
ok, you just need to tweak your permissions (make sure you disable windows
authentication if you want others to see it)
