I am getting an error from IIS7 running on Vista saying "server error: beta
period expired". This is IIS 7 that comes Vista. Why would it expire? Help!

Hi,

Where exactly are you seeing this error? In your browser? In the IIS
Manager?

I'm not familiar with this error message.

Cheers
Ken

Hi Ken,
I am getting this error when I try to create a new subweb. By using Expression Web, Front Page, or from IIS manager. I have no difficulty opening the existing webs.

Any help is appreciated.

Ken,
I did install FPSE beta. Is that causing my problems?
What can I do about it?

Thanks.

How are you creating a new subweb in IIS Manager? Did you install the FPSE
beta?

By default, there is no FPSE (Frontpage Server Extensions) support in IIS
7.0 on Windows Vista, so I'm confused as to how you are creating a subweb

Cheers
Ken

Hi,

I'm not sure if that's causing the problem - it may be. Perhaps the beta of
FPSE has expired?

You might wish to ask this on the www.iis.net forums instead.

Cheers
Ken
