Ok thanks for the comments. I have attached the questions for all to see.
Michelle.
The Company
1. Name the Company (provide a logo if available) and it's location
2. What does the company do?
3. Describe the organisational structure of the company
4. In what market does the company compete? How does it go about attracting
or generating work?
Staff
1. How many people does the company employ?
2. Are these employees' full time, part-time, or contractors?
3. What roles are these people employed in?
4. What non-production specialists are employed by the company? (e.g.
accountants, lawyers)
The Individual
1. What is your subject's role in the company? (Job Title and Description)
2. Where do they fit in the production line? At what point in the
life-cycle of a project do they first become involved?
3. How did they get their start at the company?
4. What is their schooling/education? How did they achieve the skills
related to their area of specialisation?
5. How long have they been working in this field? What were they doing prior
to that?
6. How well are they paid? (Some people feel uncomfortable giving out exact
amounts. For these people, offer a range of range of salaries and ask them
to choose which applies. If they still seem reluctant, ask them if feel
they are well paid compared to others in the same field.
7. What strategies do you use to keep up to date with all the latest
technological developments and emerging issues in your field?
8. What hardware / software do you regularly use in your work?
9. Are you a member of any professional body or industry association?
Work Practices;
1. How do others in the company and your subject interact during a project?
(e.g. meetings, informally, electronically?)
2. How much contact (both formal and informal) does your subject have with
all of these people in a normal day?
3. Average days tasks (is there such a thing?) What does a typical day
involve?
That is all of the questions. I only need a few more things:-
a photo of yourself and an example of your work, including when, where and
how created, and for who. A link to a website is not sufficient.
