RF is a bit mis-informed...that's ok though...he probably doesn't do this
for a living Smile

These tools are not automated. The tools they speak about are Webposition
Gold et al.

Our tools, using the Google API, are 100% approved by Google.

RF, thanks for bringing this opportunity to light!

You are correct, I don't do this for a living.

However, I do know what the google page says. Your site does not explain
that it is approved by google so my immediate reaction was that I may be
somehow penalized, by google, for using your service.

Also, if the tools are not automated, how do I get a result within a couple
of seconds?

Cheers

Hi RF,

The "Automated" that Google refers to in it's terms of service is the way
WebPosition Gold "automatically" checks your ranking in the background...per
a pre-set schedule you set in the software. This is particularly helpful
for webmasters and professional SEO folks.

Using our tools should not worry anyone in that they are checking our IP
address, not the website that you type in ... and to be honest, I never
thought anyone would be concerned about the Google approval on our site to
post it...I will take a closer look at that this week, thanks for the
suggestion. Your perspective has been very helpful.

The reason our servers get results so quickly is that we run Pentium 4 1U
boxes connected to the MAE West Internet Trunk through OC96 lines at XO and
VitalStream in Southern California. Our hosting plans are very high end and
our web sites generally benefit as a result.

Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to plug our company Smile.
