Can anyone point me to a resource that explains the meaning all the
different values for the sc-status, sc-substatus, and sc-win32-status codes
in the IIS log file?
Thanks.

OK, I found this page:
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/windowsserver2003/proddocs/standard/cerr_aboutcusterr.asp" target="_blank">http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/windowsserver2003/proddoc...tandard</a>
which explains the status and substatus codes, but still have not been able
to find any documentation on the win32-status codes.

Look at WinError.h. win32-status is the Windows API error code, it might be
useful to see why a particular request failed (as the status code will only
be 500 for a whole range of error conditions).
