Is IIS 6.0 capable of running on Windows 2000 using
the .NET framework? Is it known to be deployed and
running as a supported architecture with this

Hi,

IIS 6.0 is only available for Windows Server 2003, but .NET works fine on
the IIS 5.0 that comes with Windows 2000

Hello,

IIS is part of the OS, and cannot be installed on another OS other than the
one it is shipped with. So, IIS 6.0 can only be installed on Windows Server
2003, and not Windows 2000.
