Post subject: How to run local sites without being connected to the internet
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

It seems when I try to connect to my sites that reside on my computer I need
to be online to view and use them. But there are times when I cannot be
connected and I would still like to develop.

Any suggestions on what settings I would have to change in order to
accomplish this?

Terry

Follow this site to install the Loopback adapter, it should do what you are

You will need to have TCP/IP configured and bound to an adapter for it to work.

Thank you. I hope this information is helpful.
