Hello,

I have a problem that is driving me crazy. Unless I put the full path to
rotatelogs into the configuration of apache2, it does not run. It doesn't
seem to matter what combination of PATH environment, ServerRoot etc that I
put it, it tells me "unable to start piped log program"
Perhaps I am overlooking something obvious. I have tried bin/rotatelogs
and rotatelogs but neither work. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Alex

Use logrotate or another facility provided by your OS that is almost
certainly better than the rotatelogs of Apache.

Thanks for the suggestion but I believe that would require me restarting
apache2 to switch log files. For the particular server this is not an
option. I am just surprised as I have always used the feature in
apache1.3 and never had any issues.
