Hi

I manually changed IUSR_<Computername> password on AD Users and Computers.
Now the Outlook Web Access (OWA) is not working (440 Login Timeout error). It
seems that I have to change the new IUSR password to the IIS Manger also. I
have there these websites:

-Default Web Site
-Microsoft SharePoint Administration
-SharePoint Central Administration
-companyweb
-Microsoft CRM v3.0

Shoul I just go to each site: Properties / Directory Security /
Authentication and access control / Edit..
and place the new password into password field?
Does this have any impact on IWAM_<computername> -account password? I
googled and somewhere was said that these are involved to gether. I didn't
touch the IWAM account.

I'm just a little afraid if abowe will impact somewhere else too. I have SBS
2003 Premium server.

Thanks in advantage, stupid from me to change that pw.

Rgs,

Juha
Finland

Hi,

For OWA - you would change this on the Default Web Site (Where the /owa
application is installed)

I don't know if any of the other websites in question use the IUSR account.
The IWAM account is separate.

Cheers
Ken

Thanks Ken

It worked. It also asked weather to change UNCPassword to following child
nodes (I selected them all):

Exadmin
exchange-oma
Microsoft-Server_ActiveSync
OMA
Public.

The other websites has all IUSR_<COMPUTERNAME> under directory security. It
is dimmed in some but not in some other. I might have to ask advice from
related forum?

Anyway, tahank you again. The OWA problem is now solved.
