Hi,
I don't want to re-invent the wheel. I found one (or more) live shops
that are just what I want. I can't afford too much, but I want to be able to
create a page for each of the categories, and then drill down to the
specific item, and add it to the cart. That's pretty easy to set this up,
but I've seen a live shop that's set up in a way I want (for now -- tomorrow
I may change my mind . It's http://www.phlare.com, and it's really great.
another great one is http://www.designerexposure.com
I'm hoping to get an off the shelf site package like this, or I may miss the
shopping season this year.
Another need is I want to be able to see the item's up in photographs of
varying sizes also, and I want more than one photograph per item, and I
can't figure out how to do that part.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance! >> Stay informed about: osCommers - want to follow live shop examples |

There are contributions for OSCommerce that will enable you to have
multiple photos per catalog item.
The category and item pages are stock, out of the box features of OSC.
As for the design and layout, you're on your own. Its not that complex,
really, if you know anything about PHP and HTML. The <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.phlare.com" target="_blank">www.phlare.com</a>
site, for exmaple, appears to use some pretty straightforward
modifications to a stock OSC setup. I agree, it is rather nicely done;
appeals to my minimalist sensibilities when it comes to web design.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: osCommers - want to follow live shop examples |

Jawn:
Thanks for the feedback. I am searching under the "contributions" category.
I can't find it. What do I look under?
